Congratulations!

Ms. Hope was promoted to a new level today!  She completed level A and is ready to begin level B.  Great Job!!!

New Semester

Our spring semester begins next week!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their holidays and was able to spend time with family and friends.  Several students are ready for new books, I will be texting with you if your student is needing one.  See you all next week!

Date change!

Due to several conflicting schedules, our piano recital date will be pushed back one week to DECEMBER 18 @ 6:30.  Please mark your calendars.  Thank you.

November Lessons

There will not be any lessons November 26-28 for Thanksgiving.

Christmas music

All students should have received their Christmas music.  Our christmas recital is quickly approaching.  Please make sure that everyone is practicing each week on Christmas music and our weekly lessons.  Practice is a big part of learning to play the piano.  If you need some suggestions on amounts of practice time, you can look under the rates and policy section of the blog. 

Notes In the Fastlane Competition

We are on our 3rd week of the notes in the fastlane competition.  This competition helps us strengthen our ability to read notes on the staff quickly and correctly.  Each week, participating students are given a work sheet full of notes.  They are timed on how fast they can complete the page. The goal is to completely fill in all the notes correctly in 1 minute or less.
